Jessie and Alli made it to Uganda! The 31 Bits ladies welcomed us with hugs, smiles and dancing and we instantly felt at home! It’s Jessie’s first time in Uganda and she is loving every second of it! Over the past few weeks we have spent time at some of the ladies’ homes, learning to cook, eating and dancing together, and talking about life. We have quickly realized that we are working with some pretty incredible women! From dancing with Florence to drinking Margaret’s famous passion fruit juice to eating dried fish with Molly, we’re experiencing Acholi culture firsthand. Brooke is teaching us the ropes and will head back to America at the end of the month. And some more exciting news: We are working on a whole new line of Bits…so stay tuned!!!
