We are blessed with an incredible local Ugandan staff that excels in what they do and are an essential component of our organization. We are constantly learning from them about the local culture and how to best help the beneficiaries thrive in this working environment. Without their assistance, our work here would be less effective and possibly detrimental.
Tina, an incredible and talented designer, is just one of the members of our amazing staff. Her work is flawless and she does a fantastic job of cranking out samples of the designs she is given which the ladies then use as a model for each piece they produce. She is a great problem solver and can usually figure out how to make seemingly impossible designs come to be. Along with her diligence and skill, her playful personality makes her a delight to work alongside. She is fun and witty and keeps the mood light even when there is a lot of work to do. I don’t know what we would do without her.
I’m a 20 year old red head from Valley Center (North San Diego County), just lookin to do something bigger in this world than go to school and have a part-time job like most kids. I have a huge, huggy family that I love that have raised me to abide by the Golden Rule. I am planning a mission trip to Uganda and Ethiopia in the spring and the 31Bits team is a big part of that inspiration. I am the Marketing/Sales and a little bit of Design intern, aka I help with finding new companies and to host our jewelry in their stores or even on their websites and blogs, and promoting 31Bits via mail, email, blog or facebook. I love making jewelry, so I’ve also been playing around with Kallie making new bead designs. Interesting fact: When I grow up, I want to be a mom, a missionary, a mermaid, a jewelry maker, a gardener, a yoga instructor, a cross country coach, and be able to make amazing homemade lasagna
Hi I’m Eva! I’m the graphic design intern for 31 Bits. I’m a Senior at Biola University and am really excited about gaining experience at an amazing company like 31 Bits! I’m originally from the mid-west but I absolutely love it out here! I really couldn’t have asked for a better opportunity. I’m so excited about all the projects I get to work on!
Eva’s latest project: THE SHEA!
My name is Jake Dacy and I’m the video intern for 31 Bits and proud to be the only guy intern! I grew up in Sacramento and came to Orange County for school. My job is helping to tell the 31 Bits story through video and I simply love it. Sometime soon I hope to work in television. Soon meaning in like 3 years.
We have been blessed to work with some incredibly talented individuals. Summer Watkins is one of them.
Each photo shoot we are challenged with pairing multiple outfits to go with each new design. Easier said than done. We would be lost without Summer’s help in this department! This girl can effortlessly put a model’s outfit together, hair, make up, pose, and BAM! We have a winning shot.
Not to mention Summer is a total goof ball and adds great comic relief to any shoot. We love Summer, and think you will too. Do us a favor and visit her website!
