The theme of our Spring line, Chasing Daylight, represents living lives filled with empowerment, purpose, and adventure. It’s about taking risks, setting goals, and seizing every moment. It’s for those who dream big and refuse to give up. It’s for those living life, but not taking it too seriously. It’s for those chasing daylight because the adventure is too good to end.
Over 100 women in Uganda are living with this kind of freedom. Some are setting goals for the first time in their lives, some are starting their own businesses, and all of them are rising above poverty. The Spring line represents living lives filled with empowerment, purpose, and adventure.
Each week we’ll be featuring someone that inspires us to chase our dreams. Meet Beth from B. Jones Style. A stylist by day and blogger by night, Beth wears many hats. Literally.
Not only are we inspired by Beth’s creativity and knack for style, but her entrepreneurial spirit and happy-go-lucky attitude.

A Day at the Farm

The business class had an outing today to an agricultural development organization. The organization teaches locals the skills and provides the resources they need to begin their own farming enterprises. Thefarm specializes in many different crops and animals. Our ladies took a tour and learned loads of information about raising different types of livestock and growing a variety of crops.
It was really great seeing the ladies get excited about their own future businesses. The day was full of learning, inspiration, and laughter.
“We’re Not in Kansas Anymore”

Last week our house party winner, Jessica Ensley and her mom, flew all the way to sunny Southern California from their small town of Marion, Kansas!
We had a blast showing the ladies around Orange County, and the ins and outs of 31 Bits. They attended our Spring line launch party, toured our warehouse, Skyped with the designers in Uganda, went to breakfast with our team and designed a special edition necklace with Kallie!
And of course… no trip to California is complete without a day at the happiest place on earth… Disneyland!
From Jessica, “It was a true blessing getting to meet all of you and spend time with you all. We had a great time at the beach and at Disneyland. However, the biggest blessing was getting to Skype with the ladies in Uganda and getting to spend time with the 5 of you. Praying blessings over 31 Bits!”
