We have some big news to report. The best kind of news.

First of all…

For your support, encouragement, jewelry purchases, events, house parties, and  of course sporting your Bits and spreading the story. Because of your help in contributing to a better life for our designers and their families….

We feel extremely blessed to tell you that 31 Bits has expanded from 35 designers…to 60!!!

That’s 25 more women we have the priveledge of giving a sustainable income. Our minds whirl when we do the math and think about all of their family members and the amount of people this will effect. One income can provide food, shelter, send children to school, and enable the designer to dream about a future of hope and possibility.

Our women truly are examples of a (Proverbs) 31 woman!

^10-31 A good woman is hard to find,
and worth far more than diamonds.
Her husband trusts her without reserve,
and never has reason to regret it.
Never spiteful, she treats him generously
all her life long.
She shops around for the best yarns and cottons,
and enjoys knitting and sewing.
She’s like a trading ship that sails to faraway places
and brings back exotic surprises.
She’s up before dawn, preparing breakfast
for her family and organizing her day.
She looks over a field and buys it,
then, with money she’s put aside, plants a garden.
First thing in the morning, she dresses for work,
rolls up her sleeves, eager to get started.
She senses the worth of her work,
is in no hurry to call it quits for the day.
She’s skilled in the crafts of home and hearth,
diligent in homemaking.
She’s quick to assist anyone in need,
reaches out to help the poor.
She doesn’t worry about her family when it snows;
their winter clothes are all mended and ready to wear.
She makes her own clothing,
and dresses in colorful linens and silks.
Her husband is greatly respected
when he deliberates with the city fathers.
She designs gowns and sells them,
brings the sweaters she knits to the dress shops.
Her clothes are well-made and elegant,
and she always faces tomorrow with a smile.
When she speaks she has something worthwhile to say,
and she always says it kindly.
She keeps an eye on everyone in her household,
and keeps them all busy and productive.
Her children respect and bless her;
her husband joins in with words of praise:
“Many women have done wonderful things,
but you’ve outclassed them all!”
Charm can mislead and beauty soon fades.
The woman to be admired and praised
is the woman who lives in the Fear-of-God.
Give her everything she deserves!
Festoon her life with praises!

Thanks to our good friends at Transparent Productions, we had the chance to sit, talk, and eat dinner with Amy Grant last night! Amy has traveled with her family to Uganda, worked alongside Compassion International, and has used her platform to promote and encourage her fans to think globally… We loved chatting with her, and Amy was so encouraging and enthusiastic about our cause! We’re excited to collaborate more with Amy…. stay tuned!!

As many of you know, the 31 Bits girls that are currently in America have just rented a small house in Costa Mesa! We decided to break the place in with a little pre-Valentines event open house

We will for sure be having more events at our place… we loved having everyone over! Here’s some pictures from the afternoon! (Thanks to Brian Rottschafer)

They took us to their huts, cooked for us, shared stories, and continually expressed their thanks for all that 31 Bits has provided. We laughed as they pointed to their pigs, sheep, beds, etc. and said “This is 31 Bits!” So… without further ado… here is what, thanks to your purchases, our ladies have been able to purchase!
