Why Bali?

Indonesia is a known for cheap labor. Its low national minimum wage makes it appealing for companies to relocate their factories there. But a low cost to a company means a high cost to the factory workers. Many Indonesians find themselves in low paying, unsafe working conditions. Often kids are pulled out of school to work in a factory or beg on the streets. Indonesia is rich with skill and resources, but there is a deep need for raising the bar when it comes to ethical work standards.
